💡 Tips & Strategies

Beginner Tips

🎯 Start Small

Don't blow your starting gold on expensive Pokemon. Catch 2-3 cheap Pokemon first to learn the mechanics. You can always catch better ones later.

🏥 Prioritize Pokemon Center

Your first facility upgrade should be the Pokemon Center. Faster healing means more battles and more income.

⚔️ Start with Easy Battles

Wild Pokemon battles are low risk. Build up your Pokemon's stats before attempting harder challenges.

Advanced Strategies

📊 Stat Specialization

Rather than training all stats evenly, specialize! A Pokemon with maxed Strength and Agility will often outperform one with balanced stats.

🔄 Rotation Strategy

Keep multiple Pokemon trained. While one battles, another can rest. This maximizes your daily earning potential.

💰 Economy Management

Always keep a reserve of 500+ gold. Daily upkeep and unexpected events can drain your treasury. Don't go broke!

PvP Strategies

🔍 Scout Before Fighting

Check the opponent's gym first. Look at their Pokemon's level, win record, and type. Pick battles you can win.

⚡ Speed Kills

In PvP, higher Agility means attacking first. A fast Pokemon can often defeat slower opponents before they get a chance to fight back.

🎲 Type Advantages

Build a diverse team. If you only have Fire types, Water opponents will dominate you. Cover your weaknesses.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • ❌ Don't battle when your Pokemon is injured - they'll likely faint!
  • ❌ Don't ignore stamina - exhausted Pokemon train poorly
  • ❌ Don't spend all gold on one expensive Pokemon
  • ❌ Don't attempt Champion battles without maxed stats
  • ❌ Don't forget to advance the day - training happens daily!

Optimal Daily Routine

  1. Check Pokemon Status - Review health, stamina, morale
  2. Set Training Focus - Assign each Pokemon their training
  3. Battle Ready Pokemon - Send healthy ones to fight
  4. Rest Exhausted Pokemon - Set to Rest if stamina is low
  5. Check Marketplace - Look for good deals on Pokemon
  6. Advance Day - Progress to apply all changes
  7. Repeat! - Consistency is key to success
